My Brothers and Sisters,
I want to let you know that we are doing our best to celebrate meaningful liturgies, while maintaining the safest procedures and cautions during this time of Coronavirus. This has been a very difficult period of time for everyone, and we certainly need to be here together to praise and worship our God who is our safety and our shield, who loves us unconditionally, in good times as well as in bad times.
As many of you know, it takes a lot of people to prepare and to assist each other through these procedures to both pray and remain safe. We have greeters, ushers and hospitality to help us find a place from which to worship and yet maintain safe distance, and then sanitizing the pews after each Mass with a spray disinfectant. So many of you have been very generous in donating your time and effort to make this happen as smoothly as possible. We thank you for your service to us.
I am appealing to all of you to consider volunteering to join one of these teams. “Many hands make light work.” and we are looking for some good volunteers to help us. If you can give us some of your time, we will train you in order to accomplish your part. There is no danger to you or your health. We would not ask if that were the case.
Please consider helping us. We need some assistance to help maintain this safe way of worshiping, the best way that we have at the present time. If interested, please call the parish office and we will put you in touch with our leaders for this service.
In advance, I thank you for sharing from your time and energy. God Bless us all as we work to come to the end of this Pandemic.
Father Richard Smith, Pastor
