Advent is the perfect time to grow closer to Mary’s son, Jesus.
“Marian apparitions are a beautiful way Mary connects us to her Son, Jesus Christ. While on earth, the Virgin Mary's ministry was completely dedicated to reflecting the hope, love, joy, and peace that comes from following her son.”
- Your journey will begin outdoors, as you hear from St. Francis about how he created the first creche. Afterward, you will be greeted by Mary of Nazareth and listen to the story of “Mary’s Wardrobe.”
- Next, you will have the opportunity to interact with Apparitions of Mary including Our Lady of Guadalupe, Our Lady of Knock, Our Lady of Lourdes, and our Lady of Champion.
- We are having a Baby Shower for Mary! Bring donations of “Wet Ones” hand wipes for kids, Johnsons head to toe body wash, Children’s shampoo, toothbrushes and toothpaste for all ages. Place your item under the tree for the Hesed House community.
- Stop and learn more about the different Apparitions of Mary with a picture timeline.
- Wander the hall and learn even more about the diverse Apparitions of Mary.
- Listen to soft music as your family spends some time together assembling a Mary Garden ornament.
- Do not forget to visit Mary’s Kitchen and sample different foods from around the world.
