Gathered in Prayer and At Home Prayer Teams

Have no anxiety at all, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, make your requests known to God. Then the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

What does this Ministry do?

Volunteers have two options to server others through the action of praying for others and for serious current local and global events.

Parishioner’s prayer requests comes from submissions made at the Parish website and walk-in requests.

The Prayer Team’s Coordinator screens all requests omitting last names to maintain confidentiality when creating the weekly prayer list.

Individual intentions are prayed for 30 days or when we receive notifications of thanksgiving. Prayer intentions will be extended upon request.

Volunteer Options:

Gathered in Prayer Team: If your schedule allows you to attend in person, come join us any Thursday mornings in the HSCC Chapel at 10:00am where we pray as a group. Each week a new prayer list is provided. The average time is between 30 to 60 minutes.

At-Home Prayer Team: If you prefer to pray from the comfort of your own home, please consider joining our At-Home Prayer Team. Each Thursday afternoon a prayer list of intentions with suggested prayers will be emailed to you, giving you the flexibility to pray as your schedule allows.
