What does this ministry/group do?

The Knights of Columbus is the world's largest Catholic family fraternal service organization with 1.7 million members. It provides members and their families with volunteer opportunities in service to the Catholic Church, their communities, families and young people.

When do they meet/serve?

Business Meeting – 3rd Monday of the month, 7:00pm, in the Gathering Place

Who is invited to participate?

Degreed members of the Knights of Columbus and Catholic Men (over 18 years of age) are welcome. First Degree Exemplification ceremonies are available throughout the year. If you are interested, contact the Grand Knight Holy Spirit Council 15037.

What volunteer opportunities are there?

Blood Drive, Special Olympics, St. Baldrick’s, ID Drive (Tootsie Roll), Linen Drive for Hesed House, Baby Bottle Campaign, Adopt-A-Seminarian and many others as the need arises.

What is the time commitment?

As much or as little as one wants to participate. It is recommended that a member attends the 1 hour monthly meeting and participates in at least one activity during the fraternal year.

What skills are required?

No special skills required other than a heartfelt need to serve members of our Parish and community.

Is any training required? If so, what does that look like?

No training required but certain skills may be needed based upon the volunteer event.
