Fr. Dennis Lewandowski Biography
Fr. Dennis G. Lewandowski, was born in Chicago and was ordained a priest in September 1985, at Saint Mary's Cathedral in Lansing, Michigan. He served the diocese of Lansing as a pastoral associate for several years before moving back to Chicago in 1990 to be near his family. Father was appointed as the pastor of Holy Spirit Catholic Community by Bishop Peter J. Sartain, in July 2009. He has served three different parish communities in the diocese of Joliet.
Fr. Dennis enjoys being the pastor of a dynamic and diverse community; what he relishes the most is celebrating the sacraments of the Church and nurturing spiritual fellowship. He has a secondary M.A. degree in Organizational Development from Loyola University. When he finds the time, he enjoys watching University of Michigan football and White Sox games; and when weather permits, he likes playing an occasional game of golf and sailing.

Roberta Balsewicz Biography
Roberta joined the staff at Holy Spirit in 2011. She has over 25 years of experience in Religious Education and has participated in training and certifications in a variety of areas such as RCIA, Adult Faith Leadership, Bible Study, Catechetics, Generations of Faith Mentor Training, Marriage Preparation, Protecting God’s Children, and Spiritual Leadership for Retreats. Most of all, she hopes to assist adults and families in weaving their faith life throughout everyday living.
Roberta has a BA in Organizational Leadership from Benedictine University and she is a mentor with the Notre Dame ECHO program. Roberta is married to Brian and they have two adult sons. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and reading.

Jane Ehrlich Biography
Jane joined the staff at Holy Spirit in September 2014, as RE director for Grades One through Ninth. She served on the staff at St. Raphael Church in Naperville, Illinois from 1991-2014. Before moving to Naperville, she was a Catholic School teacher and Coordinator of Religious Education in Monona, Wisconsin, for many years. Jane is married to John and they have two grown children and two grandchildren. In her free-time, she enjoys reading, walking, and traveling.
Kathy Ford, RN

Kathy Ford, RN Biography
Kathy Ford has been the parish nurse and coordinator of pastoral care since 2000. She has been a nurse since 1981 and brings to Holy Spirit a caring and listening presence along with her expertise of balance of health, wellness and spirituality. Kathy is married to Marty and they have two beautiful daughters, Sarah and Katie.

Rachelle Kramer Biography
Rachelle joined the staff Holy Spirit in September 2016. Her professional experience includes both teaching and leadership positions as director of Music and Campus Ministry; director of Music and Liturgy Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Richmond, MN; and director of Liturgy and Music at Xavier University in Cincinnati, OH. Her passion for music started when she was a little girl watching and listening to her mother practice with their local church choir.
Rachelle has a BA in Liturgical Music and Catholic Studies from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN; a Masters of Arts in Theology, Liturgy Concentration and a Masters in Music: Choral Conducting Performance from University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.

Dcn. Carlos Rubio Biography
Deacon Carlos Rubio and his wife Cecilia became parishioners at Holy Spirit Catholic Community in the fall of 2016. They moved from EL Paso, Texas to Naperville to be close to their son and grandchildren. He was ordained a deacon in 2008 and served the parish of Our Lady of the Valley in El Paso for many years.
Deacon Carlos garners many years of experience in teaching the faith, counselling couples and in Sacrament preparation. He has a BS in Civil Engineering, a MS's in Civil, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering; and a MS’s in Theology from Loyola University. In addition to serving as a deacon in the diocese of El Paso, Carlos also served as their Associate Chancellor.

Dcn. Mike Ryba Biography
Mike was ordained a Deacon in the Diocese of Joliet in August, 2016. He is currently an IT Consultant for a consulting firm in the Chicago area. He and his wife, Lisa, have been parishioners at Holy Spirit since 2004 and have been involved in a number of ministries since joining the Parish. They have 3 married children (Dan, Becky, and Chris) and 6 grandchildren, including a set of twin girls (Paige, Abby, Kate, Ally, Jack, and Gavin).
Mike helped to establish the Knights of Columbus at Holy Spirit and was the Council's first Grand Knight. He is now the Chaplain for the Council and is actively involved in Pro-Life activities. In his spare time, Mike likes watching and participating in any type of sports activities (Blackhawks, White Sox, Fighting Illini), spending time with the grandkids, and loves everything about Disney, including spending time at the parks with his family.
