Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament
The Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament is on pause while the Church Sanctuary is being renovated. The renovation time frame begins Tuesday, May 31, and lasts through early August.
What is Eucharistic Adoration?
It is the worship of the Eucharist outside of the Mass. The Consecrated Host is displayed in a monstrance on the altar so all can see and pray in the presence of Christ.
Why do you go to Adoration?
It is an intimate time with Jesus where we are closer to Christ in personal prayer and time to discern what God wants for us in life. Adoration is also an opportunity to grow in faith and relationship with Jesus.
What do you do during Adoration?
There are many ways to approach prayer in the presence of the Eucharist: personal conversation with the Lord, pray the rosary, read scripture, read devotional or prayer materials, sit in the presence of God and listen.
